Even though there is more going on at Acorn than a weekly service, there is no doubting that one of the highlights of the week is when the whole church has the chance to gather together each Sunday morning, 10:30am-12 noon.

Our goal is to create a setting where people can truly meet with God; through inspiring worship, relevant and practical teaching, sensitive prayer ministry and positive interaction – all accessible to those not used to going to church.

On a Sunday morning there are other items you might encounter in addition to the music, message, refreshments and children’s/youth programme:

Holy Communion
We celebrate Holy Communion on the first and third Sundays of the month. The first Sunday is as a whole church family - including children and young people.

Prayer Ministry
As a church we believe that Jesus wants to impact our lives as we come to him with personal needs. An invitation is given on the third Sunday of every month (in addition to other occasions) for people to receive prayer for various issues and concerns that they are facing.

Special occasions
From time to time there will be believers’ baptisms, child dedications and people being received into membership.
